Sao Paulo Forum rejects US criminal blockade against Venezuela PDF Print E-mail

ForoSaoPauloCaracas, July 17th 2018.- More than a hundred social movements and leftist political parties in the world that participated in the Sao Paulo Forum resolved to reject the coercive and unilateral measures applied by the United States (USA) against Venezuela.

In that sense, they categorized the action undertaken against the land of Bolívar and Chávez as criminal, for which they called on the US Government to respect the laws of international law and not to violate the right to life of Venezuelans.

"This attack against the Bolivarian Revolution, is expressed in the adoption of unjust and illegal unilateral coercive measures, in violation of International Law and the Charter of the United Nations, and aimed at blocking the access of the brother South American country to international credit, stimulate the flight of capital and the fixing of an illegal exchange rate ", says part of the resolution made by the participants of the Sao Paulo Forum.

Those present at the XXIV Meeting of the Forum of Sao Paulo confirmed that solidarity with Patria Bolívar and Chávez is a priority task of all the parties in the region, so they agreed to order a plan of constant work that allows to bring the truth of the fight of the Bolivarian people to every corner of the world.

They also recognized the conscience, morals, courage and dignity of Venezuelans, who despite the economic situation they are experiencing as a result of the imperial attacks, learned to settle their differences through the electoral process.

The participants of the world's largest social forum hailed the strengthening of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), and indicated that the holding of a new congress is a sign that the progressive project of Bolívar and Chávez will be strengthened with new cadres that will shield each political achievement and social of the Venezuelan people.
