Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Foundation receives 2nd cohort of scholars from the Republic of Mali in Venezuela PDF Print E-mail

EstudiantesMaliCaracas, February 20th, 2018.- This Tuesday, a meeting was held between the President of the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Foundation, Cesar Trómpiz, and the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Mali, Jean Claude Sidibé, with the aim of deepening bilateral cooperation ties in the area cultural and educational.

The meeting took place in the Venezuela Room of the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, Vargas state, and was attended by 58 international scholars from the Republic of Mali belonging to the second cohort of students from the brother African country.

In this regard, Minister Jean Claude Sidibé expressed his gratitude to the Constitutional President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, for continuing to receive more students from the Republic of Mali and preparing them for education.

"I want to congratulate the new arrivals from Mali, it is important to know that within the framework of cooperation with the sister Republic of Venezuela is receiving more students to train young people from the third world, a strong sign that marks the confidence of Venezuela towards our country, They are our brothers, " emphasizied Minister Sidibé.

Among the 58 students, 19 are women and 39 men and were nominated by the Government of the Republic of Mali and selected by the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to carry out their studies in the homeland of Bolívar in various study areas essential for the integral development of the nations.
As part of the scholarship representation, the students expressed their unrestricted support for the Bolivarian Revolution, assuring that the Noble People of Venezuela are supportive and thanked a lot Venezuela and the Gran Mariscal of Ayacucho Foundation for the opportunity.

The scholarship holder will be grouped into three national universities belonging to the Association of Bolivarian Rectors (Arbol) to study agroecology, physiotherapy, sports technique, physical activity and health, and sports training.
