Caracas, 19th February 2018.- This Monday, a bilateral meeting was held by the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Mali, Jean Claude Sidibé, the Venezuelan deputy minister of Living Well Learned and Community of Knowledge of the Ministry of Popular Power for University Education, Science and Technology, Carlos León and the President of the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Foundation (Fundayacucho), César Trómpiz, to strengthen cooperation link in university and sports education.
During the meeting, held at the Ministry of Popular Power for University Education, Science and Technology (Mppeuct), spoke about the arrival of new Malian scholars to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the review of educational and sports programs that will sustain the students in Bolívar's Country.


In this sense, the President of Fundayacucho, César Trómpriz, said that for Venezuela it is a source of pride to continue deepening relations in education with the African Peoples and in compliance with the policies of solidarity founded by Commander Hugo Chávez and continued by President Nicolás Maduro Moros.

Venezuela has so far included, in its educational system, more than 115 students from the Republic of Mali through scholarships offered by the Gran Mariscal of Ayacucho Foundation. For his part, the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Mali, Jean Claude Sidibé, thanked the support that Venezuela has offered in terms of university and sports training to young Malians.

"Mali is a young country where more than 60% of its population is around 18 years old, the demand we have in education is very great, thanks to Venezuela, we can train young people who will be not only the new professionals of the country, but also the teachers of the new generations, "he said.

Finally, we are expecting, that by February 20 th, more than 59 Malian students will arrive in the country, they will specialize in different educational and sports areas in Venezuela. LM / Photography: Jean Rodríguez.
